This was my second visit to the Keio University Archives where Yohko Watanabe introduced me to the Noguchi Room 3 year ago. What I particularly like is the openness and at the same time the intimacy of the archive. I appreciated very much the individual and generous introduction by researchers to the rich materials: the fact that I was able to find out about different layers of the history and narratives around the room in dialogue. The archive seemed to me, rather than fixing things in categories, to open up new connections and possibilities to the material. As an artist I find this very inspiring and helpful for my research.
